Knowing that, Gracie Barra Flatirons offers highly trained and certified instructors teaching off a unique system of curriculums tailored for different ages and BJJ experience levels. Professor Arlindo Baião "Juninho"

Meet the maestro of the mat, Professor Arlindo Baião "Juninho", our latest dynamo straight from Campinas's energetic core in São Paulo, Brazil. Joining in October 2023, he unpacks an epic 20-year saga in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a 19-year romance with Judo to enrich our clan. Juninho is no ordinary coach; his scholarly stride in Physical Education bestows a unique, brainy twist to his Self-Defense and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu prowess, sculpting champions out of novices, both young and seasoned.

This sage began his scholastic voyage at Jaguariuna College, Brazil, donning a bachelor's cap in Physical Education. But why stop there? He soared to snag a master's and Doctorate in Adapted Motor Activity from the illustrious State University of Campinas, Brazil. A globe-trotter in teaching, Professor Juninho has woven his expertise through classrooms in Brazil, Portugal, Italy, South Korea, and the USA. As a fervent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu devotee, he's not just graced the mats—the man's a multiple-time São Paulo state champion! His athletic poetry has also adorned numerous national and international tournaments. Get ready to grapple with greatness, because with Juninho, every throw is a step towards triumph!

Coach Alex

Coach Alex is the Program Director at Gracie Barra Saddle Rock, where he plays a vital role in guiding students on their jiu-jitsu journey. In addition to overseeing the academy’s programs, he actively teaches and assists in both kids' and adults' classes. With 15 years of wrestling experience and a background as a certified police officer in two states

Coach Alex originally began training jiu-jitsu to enhance his safety and effectiveness in law enforcement. His passion for teaching started with defensive tactics instruction for fellow officers

which naturally evolved into coaching both children and adults classes at Gracie Barra Saddle Rock. Now, he’s dedicated to helping students build confidence, discipline, and technical skill on the mats, fostering a supportive and empowering training environment for all

Our vision of Martial Arts is simple: to learn, you must train. That’s exactly why here you can train as much as you want. 6 days a week, we offer classes 6 days per week ranging from mornings to afternoons to evenings and Saturdays.
