KIDS & TEENS
From 4 years old and up, children at Gracie Barra Flatirons can take advantage of classes filled with self-defense skills to become the best that they can be, mentally and physically.
The Gracie Barra Kids & Teens Program – GBK was created to provide children with an environment that allows them to experience and understand core values around focus, discipline, persistence, cooperation, and respect – all through the principles of BJJ teachings.
To excel in any endeavor, individuals need to have a strong set of values and a solid character that allows for perseverance and goal attainment. As a contact sport, Gracie Barra Flatirons’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu provides a very challenging yet safe and caring environment for a child to mature into a real-life champion.
The outcome of the continued childhood practice of GB BJJ goes far beyond the accomplishments on the mats. The discipline and excellence our instructors demand often carry over to the child’s behavior at home and school.
Currently, to ensure the best and most adequate instruction to our students, we are offering the following class:
# Little Champions 1 (4 to 6 years old) – Monday and Wednesday at 4:15 PM; Saturday at 9 AM
#Little Champions 2 (7 to 9 years old) – Monday and Wednesday at 5 PM; Tuesday and Thursday at 4:15 PM; Saturday at 9 AM
#Juniors & Teens (10 to 15 years old) – Monday and Wednesday at 5 PM; Saturday at 9 AM

Above all, we offer a wide range of adult Jiu-Jitsu classes in Broomfield so students can choose the class that best suits their needs. In short, we have three tiers of classes that address varying degrees of skill and knowledge. They are as follows:

Pr ivate lessons are a great way to gain an edge over the competition and advance your abilities on a faster timeline than your peers. Your journey in Jiu-Jitsu is unique and the training shows different results for everyone, therefore which is why it’s best to follow a personalized approach when learning the art of Jiu-Jitsu.
At Gracie Barra Flatirons, we not only offer comprehensive classes for all ages and skill levels but also as a result encourage our students to take part in a private training course to lock in what they have learned in class and further improve on their skills.
Private training gives you time to overcome problem areas with your instructor and reach critical breakthroughs where you might have had challenges before. Your instructor will provide personalized training based on your skill level so you can perfect your techniques and even advance beyond the rest of the class. Receiving one-on-one time is essential to succeed in your Jiu-Jitsu training.
It is highly recommended that all students take at least one private lesson per month to review techniques and address specific challenges in his or her Jiu-Jitsu journey.
